2015-2016 School Renewal Summary
Children at Cowpens Elementary School were “Wild About Learning” in 2014-2015. Together we worked to build a strong foundation based on data assessment, personalized literacy instruction, hands-on math and science instruction, modern technology, positive behavior and healthy lifestyle choices. We are extremely proud of our “Excellent” Absolute Rating and our “Excellent” Improvement Rating, which are determined by student growth on the Palmetto Assessment of State Standards test. We received the Palmetto Silver Award in recognition of significant gains in student achievement. Additionally, we were named a Title I Reward School for Performance and a Title I Reward School for Progress for being among the highest performing Title I schools. Read more
